Technically speaking: it’s is a beam supported at either end by three equally angled metal sheets that combine, to form a self-supporting construction for a large tabletop.
Aesthetically speaking: it’s Big, Bulky, Blue But Beautiful. The B.05.

Designed as a workbench for small to medium offices, the B.05’s standard dimensions of 3.5 x 1.2m provides a good working unit for up to 6 people. The maximum production length is 5 metres.

Network and power cables can run through the connecting beam and accessed through lids inside the tabletop.

A smaller version for domestic use is in development.
